Hamburg management consultants Custium won together with its customer, the preservative manufacturer and disinfection specialists Schuelke & Mayr, the silver "CRM Best Practice Award" and thereby against approximately 20 competitors became generally accepted. Schuelke & Mayr and Custium receive the award in the category business customer for its common CRM software project "Sailor".

The solution is used world-wide by over 80 coworkers into selling, marketing, product management and research. It began seven years ago with three users. At that time Schuelke & Mayr looked for for a possibility of managing customer inquiries better. Owing to the work of Custium in the meantime all information is available by push of a button at the computer. "the basis to the success of Sailor lay in the continuous improvement of the functions of the coworkers: they work more simply, more efficiently and more effectively ", explains Andreas Schluens, managing director of Custium. The free time resulting from it is available for improved customer service and acquisition. Schluens further: "there the requests and requirements of the coworkers are supported directly, the acceptance of the software is very high. We could exclude the principal reason for the failure of CRM projects thereby."
